Headshifts
Headshifts was made in 2012 and filmed at Nottingham Trent University. It is a highly subjective response to the four questions posed in this website and the idea that perhaps exploring questions is more important than providing answers..
The fragmented head brings together a multicamera technique with the questions; what is madness and what is normal?
The lines from Shakespeare's Macbeth echo the thought that, although mental illness maybe heartbreaking, overwhelming and painful, medication and a return to life as it was before may not be what an individual person needs or desires...
It is an exploration, a work in progress, with an aim to produce a more finished film in the near future.
